Our Jonte Farm has a long, vibrant history: first mentioned in 1509 as “Skalkgeråsen,” it was for many centuries a small, self-sufficient farm. Gardens, fields, and meadows once flourished here, where people worked, planted, harvested, and lived with joy. Today, the old gardens have disappeared, and only the venerable fruit trees quietly whisper of this beautiful past.

Since 2019, we— the Bürge and Würzer families—have lovingly revived the farm. Our vision is to make Jonte a lively vegetable farm and a little paradise—a place where the quiet whispers of old times can swell once again into joyful laughter. We believe that God placed us in a garden and wants us to live in harmony with nature, to work together with it, and to grow healthy.

We plant, harvest, and garden with love, taking care to cultivate and process our food as ecologically as possible and to reuse it without waste. With every bed we tend and every seed we plant, we aim to bring back a piece of the warmth, vitality, and harmony of times past—and to invite people to rediscover the joy of nature, healthy food, self-sufficiency, and living in harmony with God.
